All UHMW rods and UHMW sheets are FDA approved and are resistant to fungus and bacteria growth, making it perfect for multiple applications.
UHMW has a very low coefficient of friction. Frictional wear on unlubricated surfaces in contact with UHMW is less than any other plastic. UHMW displays extraordinary resistance to abrasive wear by gritty materials. It can be used at temperatures ranging from -250°C to 82°C.

Standard mill shapes are: sheet, rod, tube and channel profiles.
