Inside Salesperson

Millennium Specialty Alloys Ltd. Is Seeking An Inside Salesperson

Job Summary

We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Salesperson to join our growing team. In this role you will assist the corporate sales team with day-to-day product sales (metal and industrial plastic materials). If you enjoy interacting with people in a fast-paced environment then this job will be for you.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

As a Salesperson, you will be responsible for carrying-out the following tasks:

  • Advise customers on Millennium’s product lines (metals and industrial plastics)
  • Provide product quotes
  • Facilitate product sales
  • Answer phone calls
  • Help to source product from suppliers
  • Make sales calls to existing and prospective customers to promote the company, service, and product lines
  • Assist with point of sale transactions

 

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Customer service oriented
  • Work well with others
  • Aptitude for working with numbers
  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Some knowledge of metals and/or industrial plastics is preferred but not essential
  • Sales experience

 

Compensation and Benefits

The successful applicant will be offered a competitive wage.  After 6 months of employment, the successful applicant will be eligible for benefits such as extended health and dental.

Purchasing Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic individual to join our growing team. In this position you will manage product inventory by way of product purchasing, product receiving, and product tracking.  If you are willing to work in a fast-paced environment then this job will be for you.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

As a Purchasing Manager you will be responsible for carrying-out the following tasks:

  • Purchase product from many of our suppliers
  • Track inventory levels
  • Obtain quotes from suppliers
  • Canvass suppliers for product and pricing
  • Receive product when delivered to ensure quantities are correct
  • Input product information into an inventory tracking system
  • Assist with inventory counting
  • Receive customers
  • Assist with point-of-sale transactions
  • Answer phones and direct product inquiries to the sales department
  • Interact in a friendly and professional manner with customers
  • Assist with projects from time to time

 

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • Capacity to analyze a situation and prioritize tasks
  • An aptitude for working with numbers
  • Work well with others
  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Previous experience working as a Purchaser is a plus
