High-density polyethylene or HDPE is a commonly used petroleum thermoplastic and the most used of the three polyethylenes for a wide range of applications. UHMW (ultra high molecular weight polyethylene) is an extremely tough plastic with high abrasion and wear resistance. The versatility of polyethylene has made it a popular plastic for countless industrial applications that require durability, low friction, and chemical resistance.

Acetal comes in a variety of shapes such as: sheet, rod and flat bars, and is produced from copolymer (Celcon) or homopolymer (Delrin) resins. Acetal has strength, stiffness and toughness, which gives Acetal sheet and Acetal rod the desired capability. It is characterized by a low co-efficient of friction and good bearing characteristics.
