Stainless Steel

Made up primarily of iron and chromium, stainless steel is one of the most well-known and popular alloys worldwide. It’s considered a “self-healing metal” as it can maintain its high levels of structure and usability in a wide range of different environments and, like steel, is endlessly recyclable.

Stainless steel is most frequently used in the food and medical industries as it’s easy to clean, non-absorbent, and resistant to nicks, dents, or cracks. Because of its durability, it’s also found in many other applications as well including the energy, transportation, and construction sectors.
