Bearing Bronze

A high-leaded tin bronze alloy, bearing bronze is known for its superb strength combined with excellent anti-friction qualities that make it very resistant to wear. As such, it’s come to be known as “bearing bronze” because these qualities make it an excellent choice for bearing applications. 

Due to its utility, bearing bronze can be found in a number of areas. Some of the most common industry applications include the automotive, appliance, aerospace, and industrial sectors. However, bearing bronze is typically chosen whenever a bearing or brushing is needed for a medium load.
