Anodized Aluminum

Anodized aluminum isn’t actually an alloy or variant of aluminum but rather a type of finishing that’s done to aluminum. Unlike other types of finishing, anodizing has many benefits including corrosion protection, resisting scratches, and overall enhancing the look of a metal. 

When aluminum is anodized, it still retains all the properties of that metal. For instance, aluminum retains its strength and lightweight properties. Anodizing has more aesthetic appeal and greater durability making it one of the most popular choices of finishing for most materials, especially aluminum.
